"Wenn es Spricht" is a project about daily objects that started in the public space of my student residence.

I placed two transparent boxes in the public area and then I wrote letters of invitation to 225 neighbours and put them on the neighbours' doors.

They could place the items they wanted to exchange in the transparent boxes and then write a self-introduction in the items' own perspective. When the next person wants to exchange the items inside the box, he has to do so in the same way. Through this game, the objects and their self-presentations are passed around.​
